Bias voltage correction function to reduce the impact of thermoelectric power
Thermoelectric potential refers to the potential difference generated by the connecting parts of different metals (as shown in the figure). Specifically, it will occur at the connection between the testing probe and the measured object, as well as at the connection between the measuring instrument and the measuring line. The magnitude of thermoelectric potential varies depending on the temperature of the measurement environment, and the larger the temperature difference, the greater the thermoelectric potential. The positive and negative bidirectional current of RM3548 flows through the test current, using their respective detection voltages, and has a bias voltage correction function to eliminate the influence of thermoelectric potential.
Compensation value for resistance based on changes in ambient temperature standard temperature: temperature compensation function
The temperature compensation function is to convert and display the resistance value of the tested object, such as copper wire, which may change due to temperature, as the resistance value at the set standard temperature. By using the temperature compensation function in RM3548, convert the measured voltage value Rt and the current temperature t as shown in the figure into the resistance value Rt0 at the standard temperature t0. When compensating for temperature, use temperature sensor Z2001 (standard on RM3548 host).
