WBGT (in) index, also known as wet bulb black bulb temperature index (in the absence of solar radiation)
WBGT (out) index, also known as the wet bulb temperature index of the black sphere (in the presence of solar radiation)
WBGT, also known as wet bulb black bulb temperature index, is a fundamental parameter for evaluating the thermal load of human exposure to the working environment.
WBGT displays an index that is related to the metabolism of specific jobs that generate heat intensity.
The WBGT index is composed of three temperature components: natural wet bulb Tnw, black bulb Tg, and dry bulb Ta (sometimes).
The calculation formula is as follows:
In the absence of solar radiation indoors and outdoors:
WBGT=0.7Tnw+0.3Tg
In the presence of solar radiation outdoors:
WBGT=0.7Tnw+0.2Tg+0.1Ta
