Purpose and Scope of Application
The GNW type internal flow mesh grille cleaning machine is an efficient fine grille cleaning equipment that combines interception and cleaning. Suitable for large, medium, and small pump stations as fine grilles to intercept and remove floating objects in water, such as weeds, paper, cigarette butts, melon seeds, fibers, hair, etc. This model has a high waste capture rate and can ensure the effective implementation of subsequent treatment processes.
Structure and Characteristics
The internal flow mesh grille cleaning machine is mainly composed of driving device, frame, traction chain, mesh plate with lifting ladder, flushing system, and electrical control system. The drive motor is installed on the main shaft in the forward direction of the frame. The two side mesh plates are driven by the transmission chain to extract the dirt trapped within their length range from bottom to top. When they reach the upper part, they automatically complete the unloading work through the steering function of the sprocket and the flushing water of the top mounted flushing device. The slag water is discharged into the slag collection groove between the two side mesh plates and then flows out of the machine by itself.
The driving device of the internal flow mesh grille cleaning machine is located at the upper part of the frame and is an imported brand SEW shaft mounted reducer. Spiral adjustment devices are installed on both sides of the rack to adjust the tightness of the transmission chain.
The frame of the internal flow mesh grille cleaning machine is a rigid rectangular structure assembled and welded from stainless steel plates and steel sections. There is a water inlet opening at the lower part of the rack, and guide rails are provided on the front and rear wall panels of the rack. There is also an internal slag collection tank at the upper part, which extends to the outside of the machine. The rack is installed in the center of the grille well, and the gap between the two sides of the rack and the grille well is the channel for the filtered water from the grille. Flow deflectors are arranged on both sides of the water facing end of the rack, which can prevent floating garbage from passing through while guiding the flow.
The traction sprocket and guide device for transmission are respectively placed on the upper and lower parts of both sides of the frame. The stepped mesh plate is made of ASTM304 stainless steel, with small holes arranged in a regular pattern on the mesh surface, which has the functions of passing water and intercepting pollutants. The stepped surface can intercept larger pollutants. The internal flow type mesh plate grid cleaning machine is equipped with a reliable mesh plate flushing system. The medium pressure flushing system starts and stops simultaneously with the grid, effectively removing the vast majority of dirt trapped by the mesh plate. The high-pressure flushing system removes some difficult to remove dirt to ensure mesh regeneration.

The electrical system of three grilles is installed in one electrical control cabinet, which includes control of the high drainage press and medium and high pressure flushing water pumps, and can be controlled separately or in conjunction. During linkage control, the grid cleaning machine, high drainage screw press, and flushing water pump can be started and stopped simultaneously; The electrical control of the decontamination machine has functions such as manual, automatic, manual automatic switching, emergency stop, cut-off, and alarm. Manually used for short-term on-site control operation of the cleaning machine. When the machine is running in automatic mode, the 'on-off' working cycle of the cleaning machine is set through the touch screen within 0-24 hours. When the grid machine is in the stop time cycle, if the water level in front of the grid exceeds the set value, the grid machine will automatically start running. The electrical control cabinet of the internal flow mesh plate type grid cleaning machine has interfaces for remote centralized (PLC) control. When the internal flow mesh grille cleaning machine is unattended, turn the operating knob to the automatic position, and the cleaning machine will automatically operate in the specified working mode.
Operating Instructions for Grid Machines No.1, No.2, and No.3
The operator of this machine should be familiar with its performance and master the methods of operation, maintenance, and upkeep.
Close the main power switch and the motor circuit breakers of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grilles and their system equipment inside the cabinet. Open the transformer switch on the inner door, and the power indicator lights (220V indicator) and (24V indicator) will light up.
There are three selector switches on the cabinet door, one can achieve remote control and local selection, and the other can achieve manual and automatic selection. When the selection switch is turned to the manual position, each motor can be manually controlled through the buttons on the touch screen; When the selection switch is turned to the automatic position, the system operates alternately according to the set start stop time.
An emergency control switch is installed at the bottom of the button panel. When the PLC system fails, place the selection switch in the emergency position, turn on the corresponding grid switch, and the system will be forced to run automatically under the control of the time relay.
Warning about High Pressure Pump Settings:
When in manual mode, the high-pressure pump must not be set to the normally open position!
In automatic mode: the single working time can be set to 4-5 minutes, with an interval of generally not less than 4 hours!

fault
If the main motor of the grille or the water pump motor experiences overload, the system will automatically shut down. When the motor is overloaded, the fault indicator light will light up and the corresponding fault will be displayed on the touch screen. Once the flushing water supply is cut off, the flushing system will stop working and issue a water shortage alarm signal. Relevant personnel should handle it in a timely manner to avoid sewage overflow.
The cabinet door is equipped with an emergency stop button (SB0). In the event of an abnormal malfunction, pressing the button (SB0) will stop the entire system from running. After confirming that everything is normal, the button can be rotated to reset it.

Maintenance and repair
1. The area around the grille should be kept clean and checked and cleaned at least once a day. It is strictly prohibited to throw wooden blocks, boards, and other debris into the grille pool!
2. Regularly check whether the gearbox oil seal leaks oil, and replace damaged oil seals in a timely manner. Insufficient oil level should be refilled promptly and replaced regularly. The reducer should be lubricated and maintained according to the SEW random instructions. The first lubricating oil of the high-pressure pump must be replaced after 30 hours of operation, and the lubricating oil should be replaced every 100 hours thereafter. The oil should be No. 46 good anti-wear hydraulic oil and added to the middle of the oil level. Warning: Before changing the oil, the circuit breaker QF5/QF10 of the high-pressure pump motor must be disconnected.
3. The four bearings on the rack wall must be regularly lubricated with lithium based grease. Inject once every 30 days. In addition, the oil cup on the bearing seat at the rear of the press should be injected every 30 days.
4. Regularly clean the pipeline filter screen. Generally, when the pressure gauge after the filter is below 0.6Mpa, stop the machine to clean the filter screen to ensure the effectiveness of the flushing system. Warning: The cleaning work is completed, and the valves must be opened and closed before starting up!
5. The machine should avoid long-term shutdown to ensure that all parts of the equipment are in good working condition. When the shutdown exceeds 7 days, the sewage must be drained completely, and the grille must not be immersed in stagnant sewage for a long time.
6. Electrical maintenance should be carried out by professionals, and the power should be cut off during maintenance.

Simple observation method for equipment operation
1. In front of the grille: Observe the filter screen at the inlet of the water inlet. On the left side is the upward filter screen, which has a lot of garbage on its surface. The right side is the downward filter screen, and the mesh surface should be clean and free of debris.
2. Behind the grille: Observe the flow of water in the outlet channels on both sides behind the grille. When the grille is in operation, the water rolls and the flow velocity is high. When stopping, the water output gradually decreases, the flow rate decreases, and the liquid level behind the grid gradually stabilizes.
3. Observe the operation of the grille machine for one cycle to see if there are any abnormal sounds, and listen for the loud and powerful impact sound produced during the medium pressure flushing.
4. Observe whether there is any abnormal noise during the operation of the press, and whether the slag output and drainage are normal.
