It consists of four parts: LK-2014 programmable quantitative sealing machine, 51 or 97 well quantitative detection disk, 100mL quantitative bottle, and enzyme substrate detection reagent. Scope of water sample testing: drinking water, source water, bottled water, reclaimed water, secondary water supply, pipeline water, wastewater, food water, livestock water, medical water, etc.
This detection method uses Escherichia coli to produce β - galactosidase to decompose the chromogenic substrate ONPG (Ortho nitrophenyl - β - D-galactopyranoside) to make the culture medium yellow. The principle of Escherichia coli producing β - glucuronidase to break down MUG (4-methyl-membelliferyl - β - glucuronide) and produce fluorescence in the culture medium under 366 nm ultraviolet light is used to qualitatively and quantitatively determine the total coliforms in water, fecal coliforms (heat-resistant coliforms), and Escherichia coli.
