Product Introduction
The intelligent pipeline locator 9800XT series is used to accurately locate the direction and depth of underground cables and metal pipelines. The 9800XT is equipped with two passive frequencies and can choose up to three active frequencies, making it a universal pipeline locator. Intelligent operation instructions make it the most user-friendly positioning device currently available. Automatic real-time gain control provides the best signal response without the need for adjustment, and the intelligent receiver can indicate any misoperation. The shell is made of very advanced special anti-collision materials, which are insensitive to environmental temperature.
The transmitter with waterproof performance automatically selects the optimal search frequency, and all active frequencies are output simultaneously, allowing for immediate confirmation of measurement results. The built-in ohmmeter can automatically measure loop resistance and perform continuous automatic impedance matching to ensure optimal signal output. According to the selected performance, each transmitter can be equipped with a sheath fault location function, which can be used for PE/XLPE insulated cable sheath fault location and cable identification.
Three frequencies for pipeline positioning
The three optional frequencies make it easy to distinguish between power cables and other metal pipelines. Active frequency allows the operator to match the transmitter frequency and select the output power based on site conditions, ensuring optimal positioning results even in complex situations. Two passive frequencies can easily locate cables and metal pipelines without the need for a transmitter, and are particularly suitable for ground surveys before excavation. Three different frequencies are used for pipeline positioning to provide the most accurate metal pipeline routing.
Active: 980Hz, 9.82kHz, 82KHz. By using the equipped transmitter and connecting it to the pipeline to be located, the direction and depth of the metal pipeline can be accurately determined.
Passive: Within the 50Hz range, only the receiver is needed to locate the power cable in operation, without the need for a transmitter.
Passive: The radio frequency (14k-22kHz) can locate the electromagnetic field of underground metal pipelines induced by the radio transmission system using only a receiver, without the need for a transmitter.
Intelligent user interface
The intelligent user interface and single key operation of the 9800XT series locator make it the easiest to use pipeline locator today. All parameters are continuously displayed on a large-sized liquid crystal display (LCD) with background lighting. Therefore, users can focus their attention on location work. The advanced microprocessor technology and electronic components placed inside a sturdy waterproof casing make the 9800XT series locator an essential detection instrument for public utilities and other units.
Left/right indication
The unique "distance left/right indication" function of the 9800XT series locator can easily guide the operator to locate the pipeline, and indicate whether the operator is located on the left or right side of the pipeline through audio and video signals. By comparing the strength of the electromagnetic field, the operator can immediately identify whether the electromagnetic field is deformed and the position of the pipeline. Compared with traditional methods, it can locate pipelines more sensitively and accurately.
current measurement
Press the depth measurement button, and the 9800XT will display both the depth of the pipeline and the current carried. Traditional pipeline meters only display the field strength and size of the pipeline. Due to the variation of field strength with pipeline depth, traditional pipeline meters will introduce users into adjacent pipelines when locating parallel underground pipelines at different depths. The current measurement function of 9800XT can accurately distinguish parallel pipelines, and even if the burial depth of the pipeline is different, it can clearly identify the pipeline to be tracked.
