Exquisite rotor assembly

The typical single axis single impeller design shortens the length of the rotor, minimizes the weight of the cantilever, and thus provides optimal stability for the rotor combination. The working clearance between the impeller and the diffuser is not affected by changes in air or water temperature. The semi open ternary flow rear curved impeller (first developed by Ingersoll Rand) provides the unit with optimal control capability and maximizes the operating range. The CENTAC impeller is made of special high-grade cast stainless steel and formed in one step by dense pressure casting, with high strength and corrosion resistance.

The thrust ring effectively disperses and transmits the aerodynamic thrust to the casing, preventing the main gear from bearing the load and maximizing the lifespan of the gear. The unique arc-shaped triangular short shaft ensures a secure self-locking connection between the thrust ring, impeller, and small gear, making disassembly and assembly extremely easy. This circular triangle connection method also increases the contact area and has a longer service life compared to key connections or heat sleeve connections.

Advanced lubricating oil system:

Low oil pressure (25PSig): SAE standard O-ring ensures no oil leakage during operation; The main oil pump is driven by the main shaft; Oil heater.

Superior mechanical transmission:

The CENTAC rotor combination optimizes efficiency, ensures reliability, and simplifies maintenance. The stable short shaft of the small gear enables the use of a structurally simple fixed three tile sleeve bearing. This bearing has no moving parts and does not require annual routine maintenance. All bearings use conventional low-pressure lubricating oil systems and lubrication to achieve effective gear lubrication and oil film stability. The oil pressure is generated by the main oil pump installed on the spindle and equipped with a computer-assisted oil pump.

The axial thrust is very small, unidirectional, and predictable, minimizing energy consumption to the greatest extent possible. The axial thrust is absorbed by the fluid dynamic pressure bearings at the short shaft end of each gear, and there are no moving parts in the standard radial and axial thrust bearings. This simple structure can effectively monitor the operation of bearings through shaft vibration, thus saving time and cost for regular maintenance.
