Type Description

The B ü rkert ME44 I/O module used to expand the ME43 fieldbus gateway can detect sensor signals and set settings or circuits. The analog module reads analog sensor signals (such as from pressure transmitters) or specifies analog settings (such as for flow controllers). Further processing of input signals, such as entering higher-level field layers through fieldbus, or configuring the target output of set value signals through fieldbus gateway (ME43). The digital module can be used for switch feedback or control signal output. Here, the configuration of ME43 type can specify how to handle or control these inputs and outputs. The ME44 type I/O module is inserted into the so-called backplane, which is then connected to the ME43 type gateway. Up to 9 ME44 modules can be connected to one ME43 gateway through 3 backboards. The ME43 and ME44 electronic modules are part of the B ü rkert EDIP concept (Efficient Equipment Integration Platform). They simplify the integration of on-site equipment (such as valves or sensors) to higher control levels. All ME44 type I/O modules comply with IEC 61131-2.
