Structural characteristics
Knife gate valves use metal to metal hard seals or metal to rubber soft seals. During the opening and closing process, the gate and sealing surface are designed with special features, resulting in minimal friction and durability.
The upper seal of this knife shaped gate valve breaks through the conventional sealing form by adopting an upper cover structure, which changes the upper seal from a large rectangular seal to a small circular seal, greatly improving the sealing performance. On the basis of circular sealing, the advanced floating sealing structure currently used internationally has been adopted, which enables the upper seal to reach the same lifespan as the pipeline, thereby improving the overall service life of the valve.
After installing a sealing device on the top of the handwheel, this type of gate valve can keep all the moving parts of the valve in a closed state, and the screw drive of the gate and valve stem will not get stuck due to dry lubricating oil. Especially suitable for long-term normal operation in harsh environments with dust and dryness.

Gold ore powder, tailings, pulp, wood pulp, fibers, dust, chemical treatment wastewater, sedimentation tanks, mineral sands, slag, coal slurry, asphalt, silo outlets, fruits, grains, cement slurry, slaughterhouse wastewater, pneumatic conveying pipelines or beer brewing media.
