Product details
  1. Handheld empty box pressure gauge+wholesaleIntroduction

    Usage characteristics
JCYB/DYM3 type empty box pressure gauge is an atmospheric pressure measuring instrument that uses deformable elements as induction. It is widely used in fields such as meteorology, military, aviation, navigation, agriculture, surveying, geology, industrial and mining enterprises, and scientific research due to its advantages of easy portability, accurate measurement, wide pressure measurement range, easy use and maintenance, and no mercury pollution. It has become a conventional instrument for measuring atmospheric pressure.

2 Handheld empty box pressure gauge+wholesaleworking principle
An empty box pressure gauge is a thin film empty box made of elastic metal as an sensing element. It converts atmospheric pressure into the elastic displacement of the empty box, and drives the pointer through a lever and transmission mechanism. When the pointer is turned clockwise, it indicates the amount of change in air pressure increase. Conversely, when the pointer is turned counterclockwise, it indicates the amount of change in air pressure decrease. When the elastic stress of the empty box is balanced with atmospheric pressure, the pointer stops rotating, and the pressure value indicated by the pointer is the atmospheric pressure value at that time.

    4 Instructions for use

4.1 When using, please place the empty box pressure gauge horizontally.
4.2 Reading: Please gently tap the instrument casing or surface glass with your fingers to eliminate friction in the transmission mechanism.
When observing, the pointer overlaps with the mirror pointer, and the value pointed by the pointer is the air pressure indication value, with the reading accurate to one decimal place.
4.4 Read the temperature reading on the pressure gauge to one decimal place.
4.5 Calculation of Air Pressure Value: The air pressure reading on the instrument can only be used after the following corrections have been made.
4.5.1 Temperature correction: Due to changes in ambient temperature, the elasticity of the instrument metal will be affected, therefore temperature correction must be performed. The temperature correction value can be calculated as follows: △ Pt=a.t, where △ Pt - temperature correction value a - temperature coefficient value (attached on the calibration certificate) t - temperature gauge reading
4 5.2 Calibration of indication, due to the nonlinearity of the empty box and its transmission, indication errors will occur when the air pressure changes, so indication calibration must be carried out. Calculation method: Based on the calibration certificate's indication correction value, within the corresponding pressure range of the pressure indication value, use interpolation to calculate the corrected indication value △ ps
4.5.3 Supplementary Correction: In order to eliminate the impact of residual deformation of the empty box on the indication value, a supplementary correction value △ pd is obtained from the calibration certificate
The corrected air pressure value can be shown by the following equation: p=ps+(△ pt+△ ps+△ pd)

    5 Precautions
5.1 The instrument must be placed horizontally during operation to prevent reading errors caused by tilting.
5.2 Users should not remove the instrument from the plastic casing to avoid unnecessary damage. When there is a malfunction, please refer it to a meteorological measurement agency or repair work.
5.3 Due to the fact that the supplementary correction values of the instrument may change over time, the supplementary correction values must not exceed the six-month service life, and must be recalibrated if exceeded.
5.4 Users are not allowed to adjust the adjustment screws without authorization to avoid increasing the instrument's error.

    6 Storage, transportation, and packaging
6.1 The instrument should be stored in a dry, well ventilated, non corrosive gas, and severe vibration free place.
6.2 The instrument can be transported by any method other than air freight.
6.3 The instrument packaging box must be filled with shock absorbers, and the outside of the box should be labeled with words such as "Handle with Care", "Precision Instrument", and "Do Not Invert".
