High voltage switch action voltage test (commonly known as "low voltage test") is a basic preventive electrical test to ensure the safe operation of high-voltage circuit breakers in power systems. At present, the power sector generally adopts the following two methods for testing:

1. Use the DC system of the on-site control cabinet as the test power supply, and adjust the voltage through a sliding line variable resistor for testing. The biggest drawback of this method is that if there is a short circuit or direct grounding of the DC in the on-site test wiring, it will directly affect the entire DC system on site, which may cause the high-voltage equipment on site to lose protection or even cause the DC system to collapse.

2. Using on-site AC power and a voltage regulator for simple silicon rectification to directly output DC, the disadvantage of this method is:

① The voltage regulator is bulky, inconvenient to use, and has a large output DC ripple.

② The input and output are not isolated, and the casing may be charged, posing a threat to personal safety.

In view of the above situation, our company has developed and launched a new generation of high-voltage switch on/off power supply, providing test power for on-site high-voltage switch on/off operation tests, avoiding the direct use of the DC system in the on-site control box, effectively preventing potential harm to the on-site DC system, and providing conditions for the safe operation of on-site equipment.
