application
The Hukseflux HFP01 heat flux sensor can be used to measure the heat flux inside soil, walls, or other buildings. It has been widely used worldwide, especially for energy balance research and Bowen ratio systems. The sensor housing is made of ceramic plastic material and contains a thermoelectric stack. The sensor generates a voltage signal by sensing the temperature difference between the top and bottom of the heat flux plate, and measures the heat flux by combining it with the thermal conductivity of the medium. HFP01 is easy to use and only requires a precise millivolt voltmeter.

HFP01SC has a heating coating and self calibration function. It adopts the "Van den Bos Hoeksma" method to automatically correct most of the errors that may occur during measurement. Suitable for more accurate measurement of soil heat flux.
The HFP01 (SC) heat flux sensor complies with international standards ISO9869, ASTM C1046, and ASTM 1155. It should be noted that this sensor is not suitable for CSI's CR200X series data collectors.
