The H-F-1 surface runoff measurement system is used to measure the flow rate of water flow that varies greatly from low flow rate to high flow rate. Large flow, such as the surface runoff caused by seasonal rainfall or rainstorm, is also suitable for measuring the flow rate of farmland irrigation water flow, mountain melting snow water flow or industrial sewage.
The drainage volume refers to the amount of water that flows through a weir within a certain period of time. Generally, flow velocity is measured in liters/Seconds or cubic meters per hour. The H-F-1 surface runoff measurement system can accurately measure the water flow rate with large atmospheric changes at the open channel port, and the outflow water is naturally discharged due to gravity. Even if the outflow of water submerges 30%, the impact on the measurement results is less than 1%, and when submerged by 50%, the impact is less than 3%.
The H-F-1 surface runoff measurement system has a diversion channel with the same width and height as the weir mouth, and its length needs to be long enough to ensure that the width of the water flow is the same as the channel and the water surface is flat, so as to enter the weir mouth.
IIPrinciples of System Measurement

The system uses a gentle diversion channel to introduce surface runoff into a known specification weir, and then uses the principle of ultrasonic distance measurement to measure the water level of surface runoff passing through the weir.The H-F-1 surface runoff measurement system has two ultrasonic sensors: one measures the height of the weir mouth water surface (vertical ultrasonic distance sensor), which is automatically measured and recorded by a data collector; Another is the reference sensor (horizontal ultrasonic ranging sensor), which measures a known physical distance as a correction for the influence of different weather conditions on the ultrasonic ranging sensor. Since the specifications of the weir mouth are known, the corrected water level data can be used to obtain parameters such as water flow velocity and water flow rate based on the following table.
