The MaxiMet series portable weather stations are designed and manufactured by GILL company. MaxiMet products provide accurate meteorological information with a wide range of applications using reliable and high-quality instrument configurations.
GMX600 features:
Temperature, humidity, and air pressure:An integrated instrument is installed inside radiation protection covers with three double louvered panels, without moving parts. This result ensures high quality for each measurement over a long period of time.
Wind:Wind speed and direction measurements are provided by ultrasonic sensors, and an additional electronic compass provides relative wind measurements.
The average wind speed and direction, as well as the World Meteorological Organization average and gust values, are also provided. additionalGPS (optional) provides real wind and other numerical values.
Precipitation:An integrated optical rain gauge automatically detects water falling on its outer surface and provides measurements based on the size and quantity of the rain. Compute and deduce the data, and simulate a tipping bucket rain gauge to output it in serial format. This optical rain gauge has no moving parts compared to a tipping bucket rain gauge.
