The GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet is suitable for AC 50Hz, rated working voltage 380V, rated working current up to 3150A distribution systems for power plants, substations, factories, mining enterprises and other power users. It is used for power conversion, distribution and control of electrical energy for lighting and distribution equipment.
  
The GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet is a new type of low-voltage distribution cabinet designed based on the requirements of the competent authorities of the Ministry of Energy, power users, and design departments, in accordance with the principles of safety, economy, rationality, and reliability. The product has the characteristics of high breaking capacity, good dynamic and thermal stability, flexible electrical scheme, convenient combination, strong series and practicality, novel structure, and high protection level. It can be used as a replacement product for low-voltage switchgear.
  
The GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet complies with standards such as IEC439 "Low voltage switchgear and control equipment" GB7251 "Low voltage switchgear".
  
Usage conditions of GGD electrical control cabinet
  
2.1 The ambient air temperature should not be higher than+40 ℃ or lower than -5 ℃. The average temperature for 24 hours shall not exceed+35 ℃.
  
2.2 For indoor installation and use, the altitude of the usage location shall not exceed 2000M.
  
2.3 The relative humidity of the surrounding air shall not exceed 50% at a maximum temperature of+40 ℃. Allow for higher relative humidity at lower temperatures. (For example, 90% at+20 ℃) should take into account the possibility of occasional condensation due to temperature changes.
  
During equipment installation, the inclination with respect to the vertical plane shall not exceed 5 °.
  
During equipment installation, in places without severe vibration impact, as well as in places where electrical components are not sufficiently corroded.

The main circuit scheme was selected based on the opinions of the design and usage departments. Added the necessary solutions for the power plant. The rated current is increased to 3150A, which is suitable for the selection of distribution transformers with 2000kV and below.

3.3GGD electrical control cabinet auxiliary circuit scheme
  
The auxiliary circuit design is divided into two parts: the power supply scheme and the power plant scheme. There is enough space in the GGD cabinet to install secondary components. At the same time, NLSGIP has also developed a special LMZ3D current transformer to meet the needs of power plants and special users when attaching relay protection.
  
3.4 GGD electrical control cabinet main busbar
  
Considering the price ratio and the feasibility of replacing copper with aluminum, single aluminum busbar is used for rated currents of 1500A and below. When the rated current is greater than 1500A, a double copper busbar is used. The production factory manufactures prototypes according to this regulation and passes type tests. Of course, the manufacturer can also replace the aluminum busbar with a copper busbar of the same current carrying capacity according to the user's requirements.
  
The overlapping surfaces of the busbar are treated with tin coating technology.
  
Selection of electrical components for 3.5GGD control cabinet
  
A. GGD cabinets mainly use advanced electrical components that can be mass-produced domestically. Such as ME, DZ20, DW15, etc. At the same time, based on the principles of economy and rationality, some available old products such as DZ10 have been retained while fully considering feasibility. Do not use outdated products.
  
B. The HD13b and HS13BX rotary operated knife switches are specialized components designed to meet the unique structural requirements of GGD cabinets. It changed the operational mode of the institution and retained the advantages of the old product. It is a new type of electrical component used.
  
C. When the design department selects new electrical components with better performance and more advanced technology according to user needs, the GGD cabinet has good installation flexibility and generally does not cause manufacturing and installation difficulties due to updating electrical components.
  
D. To further improve the dynamic stability of the main circuit, a ZNJ type combined busbar clamp and insulation support for GGD cabinet were designed. The busbar clamp is made of high-strength and high flame retardant PPO alloy material thermoplastic molding, with high insulation strength, good self extinguishing performance, unique structure, low cost, and high strength, which solves the problem of insufficient creepage distance in old products.
  
4. Structural characteristics of GGD electrical control cabinet
  
The cabinet body of the GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet adopts a universal cabinet form, and the frame is locally welded and assembled with 8MF curved steel. The frame components and special supporting components are supplied by designated steel production plants to ensure the accuracy and quality of the cabinet body.
  
The other components of the universal cabinet are designed according to the modular principle and have 20 installation holes, with a high universal coefficient. It can enable factories to achieve pre production. It not only shortens the production and manufacturing cycle, but also improves work efficiency.
  
4.2 GGD cabinet design fully considers the heat dissipation issues during cabinet operation. There are different numbers of heat dissipation slots on both ends of the cabinet. When the electrical components inside the cabinet heat up, the heat rises and is discharged through the upper slot, while the cool air is continuously replenished into the cabinet through the lower slot. Create a natural ventilation channel from bottom to top in the sealed cabinet to achieve heat dissipation.
  
According to the requirements of modern industrial product design, the GGD cabinet adopts the golden ratio method to design the cabinet body shape and the division dimensions of each part, making the whole cabinet beautiful and elegant, with a new look.
  
4.4 The cabinet door is connected to the frame with a hinge type movable hinge, which is easy to install and disassemble. The folded edges of the door are embedded with a mountain shaped plastic strip. When the door is closed, the strip between the door and the frame has a certain compression stroke, which can prevent direct collision between the door and the cabinet, and also improve the protection level of the door.
  
4.5 The instrument door equipped with electrical components is connected to the frame with multiple strands of soft copper wire. The installation components inside the cabinet are connected to the frame with rolling screws, forming a complete grounding protection circuit for the entire cabinet.
  
4.6 The cabinet surface paint is selected with polyester baking paint, which has strong adhesion and good texture. The entire cabinet has a matte color tone, avoiding glare effects and creating a comfortable visual environment for the on duty personnel.
  
The top cover of the cabinet can be removed when needed to facilitate the assembly and adjustment of the main busbar on site. The four corners of the cabinet top are equipped with lifting rings for lifting and transportation.
  
The protection level of the cabinet is IP30, and users can also choose between IP20-IP40 according to environmental requirements.
  
5. Installation and use of GGD electrical control cabinet
  
After the product arrives at the receiving location, the packaging should first be checked for completeness and damage. If any problems are found, relevant departments should promptly investigate the cause. For products that are not installed immediately, they should be placed in appropriate locations according to the regulations of normal usage conditions.
  
Installation of GGD electrical control cabinet products
  
The installation of the product should be carried out according to the installation diagram. The foundation channel steel and bolts should be provided by the user. When installing the main busbar, the overlapping surface should be repaired flat, cleaned, coated with neutral Vaseline or other measures, and then tightened with bolts.
  
5.2 After installation, GGD electrical control cabinet products need to undergo the following inspections and tests before being put into operation.
  
A. Check whether the paint on the cabinet surface has peeled off, and whether the inside of the cabinet is dry and clean.
  
B. Whether the operating mechanism of electrical components is flexible, and there should be no jamming or excessive operating force.
  
C. Whether the on/off of the main electrical appliances is reliable and accurate. Whether the on/off of auxiliary contacts is reliable and accurate.
  
D. Whether the instrument indication and mutual inductance changes and polarity are accurate.
  
E. Whether the busbar connection is good, and whether the insulation support, installation parts, and accessories are installed firmly and reliably.
  
F. Whether the auxiliary contacts meet the requirements, whether the fuse core specifications of the fuse are correct, whether the breaker and setting values meet the design requirements, and whether the action is accurate.
  
G. Whether the contacts of the circuit meet the requirements of the electrical schematic.
  
H. Does the protection circuit system meet the requirements
  
I. The insulation resistance measured with a 500 volt megohmmeter shall not be less than 1 megohm.
  
5.3 Precautions for using GGD electrical control cabinet
  
A. This product is a low-voltage distribution cabinet that is not installed against the wall, operated on one side (front), and repaired with double-sided doors. The maintenance channel and cabinet door of the product must be operated, inspected, and repaired by qualified professionals who have passed the assessment.
  
B. Air circuit breakers, after multiple cycles and disconnections, may cause local burns to the main contacts and produce carbon based substances, resulting in increased contact resistance. Therefore, regular maintenance and repair of air circuit breakers should be carried out according to their instructions.
