Fiber optic MODEM, also known as optical modem, is a term for optical transceivers with simple interfaces. Fiber optic MODEMs generally only provide 1-2 business interfaces (up to a maximum of 8 channels), but have a wide range of interface types, such as E1 interfaces and V.35 interfaces for telecommunications, serial ports (RS232/485/422) for industrial control, switch/analog signals for security monitoring, Ethernet interfaces for computer networking, and multi service optical modem that can comprehensively provide the above services. Because fiber optic MODEM is a general term, customers can choose suitable products according to their actual needs. The requirements for special interfaces can be customized.
