Overview of FY200 Coating Thickness Gauge:
The FY200 coating thickness gauge uses magnetic and eddy current thickness measurement methods to non destructively measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings (such as aluminum, chromium, copper, enamel, rubber, paint, etc.) on magnetic metal substrates (such as steel, iron, alloys, and hard magnetic steel) and non-conductive coatings (such as enamel, rubber, paint, plastic, etc.) on non-magnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.). The FY200 coating thickness gauge is an essential testing instrument for controlling and ensuring product quality.

FY200 Coating Thickness Gauge Test Procedure
1. Sampling
Sampling shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of T1101-2006. Sample humidification and state adjustment: carried out in accordance with Article 5 of this regulation T1101-2006.
2. Sample preparation
In addition to complying with the relevant provisions of this regulation T1101-2006, 10 representative specimens shall be cut, and the size of the specimens shall not be less than the area of the reference plate. Measure the conventional thickness under a pressure of 2kPa:
Clean the reference plate and 5N pressure block, place the pressure block on the reference plate, and adjust the zero point of the dial gauge. Lift up a 5N pressure block and place the sample naturally between the reference plate and the pressure block. Gently lower the pressure block to apply a pressure of 2kPa ± 0.01kPa to the sample. Lower the dial gauge contact of the measuring device and start timing after contact. After 30 seconds, the reading should be accurate to 0.001mm.
3. Repeat the steps of the FY200 coating thickness gauge to complete the testing of 10 samples. Select different pressure blocks as needed to achieve a pressure of 20kPa ± 0.1kPa, repeat the procedure specified in 5.4, and measure the thickness of the sample under a pressure of 20kPa ± 0.1kPa.
