4、 Working principle
This instrument adopts advanced foreign technology and the high-frequency principle, which means that there is a natural frequency inside the instrument. The frequency transmitted into the machine through the sensor varies depending on the moisture content of the measured object. The difference between the two frequencies is compared and converted into a digital display through a frequency current converter.

6、 Instructions for use
The moisture meter is a contact type measuring instrument, and the measurement premise is that the sensitive part of the sensor is mostly within 10mm of the front end. It should be in full contact with the measured object. Generally speaking, the sensitive part of the sensor should be as deep as possible into the interior of the measured object to reduce measurement errors.
If there is metal around the measured object, it will cause inaccurate measurement, so it is required that there should be no metal substance within 20cm around the sensitive part of the sensor inserted.
7、 Usage steps
1. Handheld instrument, screw the sensor probe into the body socket, turn the switch to ON, and the LCD screen will display 0 ± 00.5. If it is not within this range, slowly adjust the zero adjustment knob to make the number display within 0 ± 00.5.
2. Insert the probe into the test substance and wait for the number to stabilize. The displayed number is the moisture value of the test substance.
3. Numerical verification: When there is an error in the measured value, please turn the dial. For example, if the actual moisture content of the tested substance is 5% and the displayed value is 4% using the 7th gear test, rotate the dial counterclockwise to make the display screen show 5%, and then check the position indicated by the dial. When testing similar substances in the future, select this gear. If the displayed value is greater than the actual moisture value, rotate the dial clockwise to bring the value to the actual moisture value. Also remember the next gear, no need to verify in the future.
4. Replace battery: When the zero knob cannot be adjusted to within 0 ± 00.5 or the number shows irregular jumping, please replace a 9V (6F22) battery. Push the battery back cover upwards and replace it with a 9V battery. If the battery is charged, open the battery cover, take out the battery, and use a small screwdriver to adjust the small copper screw (potentiometer) on the side. If it is positive, adjust it counterclockwise, otherwise adjust it clockwise.
