Eppendorf centrifuge tubes are a suitable choice for conveniently and safely processing samples with a volume of 0.5-2.0 mL. For the treatment of larger volume samples, 15 mL and 50 mL conical bottom capping centrifuge tubes are usually used. However, the processing of medium volume samples faces a challenge: only large volume conical bottom capping centrifuge tubes can be used for processing, which is impractical, inconvenient, and often prone to contamination. The optional bayonet cover and nut cover provide better options for different requirements in sample preparation, cultivation, storage, or other purposes.
Not all consumables have the same quality!
Substances (precipitates) released from plastic consumables may have an impact on the experiment. If they absorb light in the ultraviolet range, it will interfere with DNA and protein detection results. The production process of Eppendorf Tube 5.0 mL does not add release agents, plasticizers, and antibacterial agents (which can affect biological analysis and laboratory testing), providing a safe solution for sample preparation and storage. Safe for use in cell and tissue culture: Higher yield in DNA separation - By using low copy plasmids and increasing the culture volume to 5 mL, the yield of plasmid DNA can be significantly increased. Using Eppendorf Tube 5.0 mL, DNA purification can be carried out safely and without contamination, without the need to divide the sample into multiple small volume reaction tubes.
