Overview

The TR-UDZ series intelligent electric contact level gauge is mainly used as an intelligent instrument for measuring and controlling the liquid level of boiler steam drums, deaerators, high and low heaters, condensers, evaporators, DC boiler start-up separators, and dual water internally cooled generator water tanks.

structural principle

The TR-UDZ electric contact level gauge consists of a measuring cylinder, an electric contact, and a secondary instrument. Due to the large difference in conductivity between water and steam, the function of the measuring cylinder is to obtain a signal through the change in resistance of the electric contact when the water level changes. In the liquid state, due to the low resistivity of the medium, when a voltage is applied to the electric contact, the current flowing through it is large. Conversely, the current flowing through the electric contact that is not immersed in the liquid surface is small. The current flowing through these two states is very different and can be fed as a signal to the secondary instrument for display and control output, achieving remote monitoring.

The TR-UDZ series liquid level gauge is equipped with ultra-high purity ceramic electrodes for its electrical contacts, which have good voltage resistance, temperature resistance, and insulation performance. It also uses AC power supply, effectively extending the life of the electrical contacts and avoiding the trouble of frequent replacement.

The TR-UDZ series liquid level gauge is equipped with an intelligent universal liquid level monitoring instrument that uses full electrical signal transmission, which not only has a small delay, but also does not require error calculation and adjustment due to mechanical transmission induced variation and scale variation. Its advantage is that it can adapt to variable parameter operation of boilers, and under variable parameter operating conditions such as boiler start stop, the instrument can accurately display the liquid level in the control room.
