Boiler fuel not only releases a large amount of heat during combustion, but also produces a large amount of flue gas. Smoke is a mixture of gas-phase and solid-phase substances. Gas phase substances mainly include carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, nitrogen, oxygen, etc. Solid phase substances are smoke and dust. Due to the presence of smoke and dust, the boiler exhaust appears gray or even black.
The working principle of electrostatic precipitator is to charge the dust particles in the dusty gas, and drive the charged dust particles to deposit on the surface of the settling electrode under the action of electric field force. Selection can refer to XWD, XKD, CDPK electrostatic precipitators.
The electrostatic precipitator has a high purification and dust removal efficiency, reaching 99% to 99.99%, with a large amount of flue gas treatment and low resistance. It has good adaptability to the range of smoke particles and smoke concentration, and low operating costs. However, the initial investment for electrostatic precipitators is high, the equipment is relatively large, the footprint is large, and the requirements for equipment manufacturing, installation quality, and maintenance are relatively high. At present, it is used for secondary dust removal in coal powder boilers, hot blast stoves, chain boilers, and circulating fluidized bed boilers.
