Electric bicycle IP water immersion performance testing device

Scope of application:

This test device is suitable for simulating rain, splash, and water immersion tests on electric bicycles and other vehicles. In the electric vehicle simulation cleaning test project, the waterproof safety performance of electrical components of electric bicycles is evaluated according to the specialized nozzles and test methods of relevant standards such as GB/T 4208-2017, GB 17761-2018, GB24155-2009.

Test items and methods

1)Electric vehicle water spraying test: Place the entire electric vehicle on the conveyor belt in the water spraying test chamber, start the rain spraying equipment, and start spraying the entire vehicle. The test time can be set, and the vehicle can be automatically stopped at that time. The water flow rate of the nozzle can be adjusted according to standard requirements.

2)Electric vehicle water immersion test: Place the electric vehicle on the conveyor belt inside the test chamber, with a water tank at the bottom of the chamber. Fill the tank with water according to standard requirements to the specified water level, start the electric vehicle, and conduct the electric vehicle water immersion test

a)A pallet and fixture are attached in the middle of the conveyor belt to support the electric vehicle

b)This design is equivalent to placing the electric vehicle on a movable platform, starting the electric vehicle to step in place, saving the construction space of the wading pool

3)Electric vehicle water drop test: Place the electric vehicle on the bottom bracket in the test chamber, fill the water tank to the specified water level according to standard requirements, start the electric vehicle, and conduct the electric vehicle water drop test. Both front and rear wheels can work simultaneously with the driving wheel

4)Water immersion test for electric vehicle components: Conduct a water immersion test on electric vehicle components according to standard requirements.
