Detection Principle

The YC-308S economical COD ammonia nitrogen total phosphorus analyzer is designed and developed according to national standards HJ/T399-2007, HJ/535-2009, and HJ671-2013,5-inch large screen display, simple and easy to understand interface, allowing users to use quickly and accurately.

Determination of COD:Measure the total absorbance of unreduced Cr6+and reduced Cr3+at a specific wavelength in a low range. Measure the absorbance of Cr3+produced by reduction at a certain wavelength under high range. After calculation by the microcomputer chip, the COD content (mg/L) is directly displayed.
Determination of Ammonia Nitrogen:Ammonia nitrogen, which exists in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions, reacts with Nessler's reagent to form a yellow brown complex. The absorbance of this complex is proportional to the ammonia nitrogen content and is measured at a specific wavelength. After calculation by the microcomputer chip, the ammonia nitrogen content (mg/L) is directly displayed.
Determination of total phosphorus:Add persulfate to the sample to convert all phosphorus in the solution into orthophosphate. The orthophosphate in the sample reacts with ammonium molybdate in an acidic medium in the presence of antimony salt to form phosphomolybdic acid, which is immediately reduced by ascorbic acid to form a blue complex. Measure the absorbance at 700nm. After calculation by the microcomputer chip, the total phosphorus content (mg/L) is directly displayed.
