An insulated metal electrode is installed in the flue, using the principle of AC induction. The DC part of the signal is separated and stored, and only the AC part of the signal is used to calculate the dust content. When dust comes into contact with or passes near this insulated metal electrode, an electromotive force is induced inside the electrode. This electromotive force is directly proportional to the dust concentration. It is measured and amplified, and interference signals are filtered out through intelligent algorithm software before outputting a standard 4-20 mA signal. Measurement is not affected by adhesion on the probe.
