In the testing process of producing computer keyboards, a certain customer needs to use a keyboard key life tester to test the durability of the keys before leaving the factory in order to ensure product quality. If the size of the keyboard changes, different weights need to be replaced and the handwheel needs to be adjusted to change the process. Manual testing is inefficient.
The personnel fixed the keyboard on the testing base, and Burkent continuously typed the keys in sequence for 24 hours, while automatically recording the number of keystrokes for each key to form a downloadable database. Due to the small size of the robot used in this project, it can be directly installed on the desktop for operation. This robot not only occupies a small space, but also greatly improves testing efficiency compared to manual labor. The combination of the frame and the body structure makes it one of the focuses of small parallel robots.
