The GT series drum screen is a specialized screening equipment developed by our company for industries such as power plants, coking plants, building materials, metallurgy, chemical engineering, and mining. It overcomes the problem of screen blockage caused by vibrating screens and linear vibrating screens when screening wet materials, improves the output and reliability of the screening system, and has received unanimous praise from users.
The drum screen is composed of five parts: drum device, frame, funnel, reducer, and electric motor. After the crushed stone enters the drum, it is sieved by the centrifugal force and the effect of the drum's rotation and the use of a jig. Screen out one by one through different mesh screens. Stones of different specifications are sieved out and then funneled into a conveyor belt to be sent to the finished material yard. On the one hand, it is screened as the drum rotates, relying on the centrifugal force and jigging effect of the drum rotation to screen the material. On the one hand, stones with larger particle sizes flow forward along the slope of the drum and are gradually screened out through screens of different mesh sizes. The small stones are sieved out and fall into their respective funnels, and then manually transported or self flowing to the finished product pile.
Working principle of GT series drum screen:
The GT series drum screen uses mechanical methods to drive the drum axis to rotate, and the reducer adjusts the cylinder to rotate at a certain speed. The material enters the cylinder through the feeding port, and under the centrifugal force generated by rotation, the material rolls inside the cylinder and is separated from top to bottom through the grading screen. Due to the different grading sizes of the screen, the material is gradually separated and screened. The qualified particle size materials are sieved and fall into their respective funnels, and then manually transported out or automatically transported to the finished product station by conveyor. Qualified products are discharged through the lower discharge port, with larger particles. Unqualified products are discharged through another discharge port, and the cleaning device inside the cylinder is used to prevent the sieve from being blocked.
