Droplets can be classified into three basic types based on their energy dissipation characteristics:

(1) Long channel dropper: The diameter of the channel is generally less than 1.0mm, with a length of 50-60cm, or even longer. During the flow process, the water overcomes the wall friction and dissipates energy.

(2) Orifice dropper: Generally inserted on the capillary tube, with a small inlet and outlet diameter and a large cavity in the middle. The pressure water flows through diffusion, contraction, or rotation to consume the remaining energy.

(3) Micro porous capillary tube: There are two types: single-walled tube and double walled tube. The former is filled with water through micro pores on the pipe wall, while the latter has two layers of pipe walls. Water enters the auxiliary pipe cavity through the outlet holes on the main pipe wall and then seeps out through the holes on the auxiliary pipe wall. The number of holes on the auxiliary pipe wall is 5-10 times that of the main pipe wall. This type of capillary tube, which has both water conveyance and outflow functions, is a special form of it. Made mostly of plastic. Due to the small outlet opening, it is prone to blockage.
