rubberexpansion jointAlso known as rubber expansion joint, flexible synthetic rubber joint, rubber expansion joint, shock absorber, shock absorber throat, soft joint.
Rubber expansion jointIt is generally composed of a smooth waveform compensation element with rubber flanges at both ends and a metal flange. Metal flanges often adopt a loose sleeve structure. The surface of the waveform compensation element is made of rubber, and the inner layer is a sandwich reinforced with several layers of strong fibers or steel strips (wires). The reinforcing interlayer, such as reinforced fibers or steel strips (wires), extends to both ends like rubber flanges, with a hard steel wire skeleton inside the flanges. Rubber expansion joints have a large displacement compensation capability, which can compensate for axial, lateral, and angular displacements, reduce noise, vibration, and have certain anti-corrosion capabilities. It has the characteristics of high pressure resistance, good elasticity, large displacement, good vibration absorption and noise reduction effect, and easy installation. It can be widely used in pipeline systems such as water supply and drainage, HVAC, fire protection, compressors, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, ships, water pumps, fans, etc.
2、 Selection instructions for rubber expansion joints:
1. Rubber joints are typically suitable for temperatures ranging from -200 to 70 ℃ The instantaneous temperature can reach 115 ℃, and the operating temperature is 70-115 ℃.
2. For flange connected rubber joints, flange rubber joints equipped with limit devices can be selected for working pressure and high working temperature (diameter 200 or above, temperature 70 ℃ or above, working pressure 1.5 Mpa or above).
3. For rubber joints connected by flanges, the bolts connecting the flanges should be threaded from the inside of the flange to both ends of the flange during installation, and should be fitted with washers or spring washers. The bolts should be tightened diagonally and gradually.
The rubber joint connected by the flexible joint should not be swapped at the left and right ends during installation to avoid product leakage or damage.
