Product Information
LoBind low DNA adsorption tubes can significantly reduce the adsorption of nucleic acid samples to the tube wall, and greatly improve the recovery rate of samples. Advanced production technology combined with batch selected polypropylene material, with no coating on the surface, reduces sample contamination, and ensures a recovery rate of nearly 100% for DNA/RNA samples. Lobind low DNA adsorption tubes are free of DNA, DNase, RNase, and PCR inhibitors, and have been batch inspected and certified by a third-party independent organization. Eppendorf Lobind low DNA adsorption tubes are an ideal choice for nucleic acid sample preparation or long-term storage in forensic analysis, gene chips, and second-generation sequencing.
Eppendorf DNA LoBind
The products include adsorption tubes, microporous plates, and deep hole plates, which can meet different application requirements for various sample sizes and fluxes.
DNA recovery rate
Under different cultivation conditions, the DNA recovery rate (0.2 ng/µ L DNA fragment (130 bp, 32P labeled) in 2.5 M NaCl/TE buffer) was compared between Eppendorf DNA LoBind adsorption tubes and those from other manufacturers. The sample recovery rate displayed by the Eppendorf DNA LoBind adsorption tube is as high as 99%, regardless of the cultivation temperature or time.
Application Literature Issue 226:
Using Eppendorf LoBind®Adsorption tubes are used for stable preparation and storage of standard plates for real-time PCR absolute quantitative analysis. The effect of DNA adsorption on the surface of the adsorption tube - real-time PCR results. From Eppendorf®The DNA LoBind adsorption tube recovers more DNA, thereby improving the standard curve and more accurately explaining the amount of DNA in the measured sample. Image: Process diagram for preparing DNA standard plates. The genomic DNA reserve solution is continuously diluted 10 fold in low retention or Eppendorf DNA LoBind adsorption tubes of competitors. Prior to real-time PCR analysis, 22 µ L aliquots of each dilution were stored at -80 ° C for 24 hours in competitive low retention or Eppendorf DNA LoBind adsorption tubes. The PCR efficiency of samples prepared and stored in Eppendorf LoBind adsorption tubes is much higher - for more information, please refer to Application Literature Issue 226.
