The hot wire testing machine is suitable for conducting fire hazard and combustion performance tests on electrical and electronic products, household appliances, and their materials. It simulates the thermal stress caused by heat sources or ignition sources such as hot elements or overload resistors in a short period of time under fault or overload conditions, and is used to evaluate the fire hazard of products.

The control system of the hot wire tester has a high degree of automation, and the temperature control part adopts imported parts, with high measurement accuracy, digital display of time and temperature, convenient observation and recording, and stable and reliable use. The outer shell and important components of the test chamber are made of stainless steel, which is resistant to smoke and gas corrosion.

Basic introduction of hot wire testing machine:

The hot wire tester heats a specified material (Ni80/Cr20) and shape of electric heating wire (Φ 4 mm nickel chromium wire) with high current to the test temperature (550 ℃~960 ℃) for 1 minute, and then burns the test sample vertically at the specified pressure (1.0N) for 30 seconds. The ignition hazard of the finished electrical and electronic equipment is determined based on whether the test sample and the substrate ignite or hold on for a certain period of time; Measure the ignition properties, ignition temperature (GWIT), flammability, and flammability index (GWFI) of solid insulation materials and other solid combustible materials.
