Introduction to catalytic combustion device:
Catalytic combustion device (RCO): First, it passes through the dust removal and flame retardant system, then enters the heat exchanger, and is sent to the heating chamber to reach the combustion reaction temperature of the gas. Then, through the action of the catalytic bed, the organic waste gas is decomposed into carbon dioxide and water, and then enters the heat exchanger for heat exchange with low-temperature gas to raise the temperature of the incoming gas to the reaction temperature. Using catalysts as intermediates to convert organic gases into harmless water and carbon dioxide gases at lower temperatures.
Scope of application of catalytic combustion device:
1. Treatment of mixed organic waste gases such as benzene, alcohols, ketones, aldehydes, esters, phenols, ethers, alkanes, etc.
2. Suitable for organic waste gas purification in industries such as chemical, plastic, rubber, pharmaceutical, printing, pesticide, and shoe manufacturing. Huaze catalytic combustion device has a complete range of specifications and models: please call us for specific needs, or we can customize it.
Characteristics of catalytic combustion device:
1. Easy to operate, with automatic control and reliability during device operation.
2. The device starts up and only takes 15-30 minutes to heat up to the ignition temperature, with low energy consumption.
3. The honeycomb ceramic carrier catalyst impregnated with advanced precious metals palladium and platinum has a large specific surface area, low resistance, and high purification rate.
4. Waste heat can be returned to the drying oven, reducing the power consumption in the original drying oven; It can also be used as a heat source for other purposes.
5. Long service life, catalysts are usually replaced every two years, and the carrier can be used.
The catalytic combustion device consists of two main parts:
1) Adsorption and concentration of exhaust gas:
The adsorption concentration of exhaust gas mainly utilizes the adsorption effect of activated carbon. This equipment consists of several sets of activated carbon adsorption boxes. When the system is running, the first set of activated carbon adsorption boxes is opened to adsorb and concentrate industrial waste gas. After the first set of activated carbon adsorption is saturated, the first set of activated carbon adsorption boxes is opened for adsorption process similar to the first set of activated carbon adsorption boxes. While the first set of activated carbon adsorption boxes is working, desorption occurs. Similarly, the activated carbon adsorption box in this system circulates the process of adsorption and desorption. The desorbed industrial waste gas enters the catalytic combustion equipment, and the final waste gas is oxidized and decomposed into harmless small molecule compounds, which meet the emission standards.
2) Catalytic combustion of exhaust gas
Catalytic combustion equipment mainly consists of several major components such as heat exchangers, catalytic beds, electric heaters, combustion chambers, and heat storage bodies. The heating tube first heats the catalytic combustion equipment, and through the action of the fan, provides the temperature (80-120 ℃) for the desorption of activated carbon. The desorbed organic waste gas then enters the catalytic combustion equipment and is oxidized and decomposed into small molecule compounds such as water and carbon dioxide in the combustion chamber at a temperature of 250-350 ℃ by the catalytic bed. By using a heat exchanger to recover and utilize the heat from the gas that meets the standard, the goal of energy conservation can be achieved.
