Introduction to Cable Trenching Machine

The cable trenching machine relates to a trenching equipment device, specifically a disc-shaped trenching machine used for laying farmland pipelines, urban and rural optical cables, etc. It is particularly effective for large-scale farmland pipelines and urban and rural optical (electrical) cable projects.

There are three types of trench excavation techniques

One is to excavate with a small excavator; The second is to install and drag small chains on large tractors for operation; The third is a disc trencher. The three existing technical solutions mentioned above all have shortcomings: using small excavators to excavate large-scale projects such as sewers, gullies, and water channels, with high efficiency and good quality; However, if narrow and deep trenches are used for excavating pre buried pipelines and electrical (optical) cables, it will be overused, and anti-aircraft guns will shoot flies; Installing and dragging a small chain on a large tractor for trenching operations can easily cause chain breakage and low efficiency due to the high output speed of the tractor, which does not match the low speed and high torque of the chain. The disc trencher transfers the rotation of the engine to a larger diameter disc equipped with cutting tools, and achieves excavation through the rotation of the disc. The structure of this disc device is driven by a diesel engine to reduce the speed of a series of belts, chains, sprockets, turbine reducers, etc. to achieve low speed and high torque, thereby driving the turntable to rotate and excavate. The assembly cost of the whole machine is high, the structure is complex, the components are frequently damaged, and the efficiency is low. It is only suitable for small-scale projects such as roadside excavation.
