What do I need to know?

To measure the color of cables and cylindrical objects, the first step is to solve the problem of fixing the probe. ColorLite provides V-groove probes to solve this problem, which can also be used to measure ordinary flat colors.

Extremely thin cables can be wrapped around plastic rods, providing a larger evaluation area for measurement with a V-shaped probe.

Attention: The diameter of the cable has a significant impact on the measurement results, which means that different specifications must be developed for color difference control of cables with different diameters.

We can select a darker and a brighter color for measurement, and then take their L A B average as the standard. Our software COLOR DATRA PRO provides this measurement method.
