-Working principle:

Amperometry is an electrochemical technique that can measure changes in current caused by chemical reactions occurring on electrodes. The generated current is proportional to the concentration of the analyte. A typical amperometric sensor consists of two different electrodes - an anode and a cathode (such as silver/platinum or copper/gold, respectively)
The CLF10sc and CLT10sc use a three electrode amperometry system, with the anode divided into two parts - a reference electrode and an auxiliary electrode (or counter electrode). These systems are typically supported by special circuits and direct voltage between two electrodes. This three electrode design typically results in more stable measurements and longer lifespan of the working and reference electrodes.
