Principles and characteristics
Brazed plate heat exchanger is a new type of high-efficiency heat exchanger composed of a series of metal sheets with certain corrugated shapes stacked together. Thin rectangular channels are formed between various plates for heat exchange through half plates. It has a compact structure, small volume, easy installation, and can withstand high temperature and high pressure. Compared with conventional shell and tube heat exchangers, its heat transfer coefficient is much higher under the same flow resistance and pump power consumption, and it has a trend of replacing shell and tube heat exchangers within its applicable range.Compact structure, easy to install
Using polycarbonate sheets with high heat transfer coefficient
Less liquid retention
Low water usage
Under the same operating conditions, only one-third of the water consumption of a shell and tube heat exchanger is required
Low fouling coefficient
High turbulence reduces the fouling coefficient, thereby reducing the frequency of cleaning
light weight
Only equivalent to 20% -30% of shell and tube heat exchangers
durable
Capable of withstanding temperature (250 degrees) and high pressure (45 BAR)
Reduced corrosion issues
high-performance
