Biological ceramic particle filter materials generally use clay and other materials as the main raw materials, which are directly crushed or processed into particles, and then burned and expanded into artificial lightweight aggregates; It is a porous ceramic granular material with a closed or microporous structure. The ceramic filter material has multiple pores inside, a large specific surface area, good chemical and thermal stability, and good adsorption performance, making it easy to regenerate and reuse.
Common specifications of ceramic particles: Φ 3-5, Φ 4-6mm, Φ 6-8mm. Other specifications can be produced according to customer needs
The main component of bio ceramic filter material is aluminum silicate, which appears as nearly spherical irregular particles with a dark brown surface and well-developed micropores. The particle size can be produced according to different requirements. Biological ceramic particles exhibit a rough and porous surface in terms of physical microstructure, which makes them particularly suitable for microbial growth and reproduction on their surface. Modern water treatment processes fully utilize these characteristics, making it an ideal filter material for water treatment, especially for biological pretreatment of sewage and slightly polluted water sources, as well as for water filtration technology. In addition, its moderate density, high strength, friction resistance, stable physicochemical properties, and no release of toxic and harmful substances into the water body make it the ***** filter material for water treatment projects.
