Betaine is an alkaline substance with strong moisture absorption properties, so it is often treated with anti caking agents in the production process. Its molecular structure and application effect are not significantly different from natural betaine, and it belongs to the equivalent of chemically synthesized natural substances.

Physical properties

Squamous or angular crystals that are easily hygroscopic, decompose when heated to around 310 ° C, and have a sweet taste. Very soluble in water, soluble in methanol, soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in ether. The decomposition reaction of concentrated potassium hydroxide solution can generate trimethylamine, which has hygroscopicity, is easily deliquescent, and releases trimethylamine. Resistant to high temperatures.

Paddle drying equipment is a dual axis (or four axis) horizontal stirring and drying device. The technology was first successfully developed by the former Federal Republic of Germany, and later introduced by Japan, which improved and developed a series of products with two axis and four axis structures and more than ten specifications. The heat required for drying by this machine relies on indirect heating through thermal conduction, so the drying process does not require or only requires a small amount of gas to remove moisture. This greatly reduces the heat loss carried away by the gas and improves the heat utilization efficiency, making it an energy-saving drying equipment. It is suitable for drying granular and powder materials, and can also dry paste materials.

Working principle
Wedge shaped hollow blades are densely arranged on the hollow shaft, and the heat medium flows from the hollow shaft through the blades. The heat transfer area within a unit effective volume is very high, and the temperature of the heat medium ranges from -40 ℃ to 320 ℃. It can be steam or liquid, such as hot water, heat transfer oil, etc. Indirect conduction heating does not carry away heat with air, and the heat is used to heat the material. The heat loss is only the heat dissipation to the environment through the insulation layer of the device body. The wedge-shaped blade heat transfer surface has self-cleaning function. The relative motion between material particles and the wedge-shaped surface forms a washing effect, which can wash away the attached materials on the wedge-shaped surface and maintain a clean heat transfer surface during operation. The shell of the blade drying equipment is Ω - shaped, and two to four hollow mixing shafts are often arranged inside the shell. The shell has sealed end caps and upper caps to prevent the discharge of material smoke and dust, thus fully exerting its function.
The heat transfer medium flows through the shell jacket and hollow stirring shaft through the rotary joint. The hollow stirring shaft has different internal structures according to the type of heat medium to ensure the best heat transfer effect.

Performance characteristics
Low energy consumption of blade drying equipment: Through indirect heating, there is no high amount of air carrying away heat. The outer wall of the dryer is also equipped with an insulation layer. For slurry materials, only 1.2kg of water vapor is needed to evaporate 1kg of water.
The cost of the blade drying equipment system is low: having a high heat transfer surface per unit effective volume shortens processing time and reduces machine size. It greatly reduces the building area and space.
