Product details
Purpose:
This device is mainly used for performance testing of ballasts in high-temperature climate environments, testing their physical and other related properties:
1.During the development phase, it is used to expose defects in all aspects of the trial product and evaluate the reliability of the product to meet predetermined indicators;
2.Provide information for monitoring the production process during the production phase;
3.Reliability assessment or acceptance of standardized products;
4.Expose and analyze the failure patterns and related failure modes and mechanisms of products under different environmental and stress conditions;
5.To improve product reliability, develop and improve reliability testing plans, and provide a basis for users to select products.

Meet the standards:GB 19510.1-2009 / IEC 61347-1:2007appendixDThe requirements.
Main parameters:
Heating test requirements for control devices of thermal protection lamps
D.1Chamber
The heating test is conducted in a test chamber where the ambient temperature is maintained at the specified temperature (see Figure D.1). The entire test chamber is made of heat-resistant material with a thickness of 25 mm. The internal dimensions of the test chamber are 610 mm x 610 mm x 610 mm, and the size of the test partition is 560 mm x 560 mm. There can be a 25 mm gap around the partition for the circulation of hot air, and a 75 mm gap should be left below the partition for the installation of heating elements. The test box has one side that can be moved, but its structure should be able to firmly fix it on the box. There should be a 150mm square opening on one side of the test box, located in the center of the bottom edge of the box. The structure of the test chamber should make the opening the only place where air can circulate. The opening should be covered with an aluminum cover as shown in Figure D.1.
D.2Heating of the test chamber
As mentioned above, the heating source used in the test chamber consists of four strip heaters with a power of 300 watts, each with a heating surface size of approximately 40 mm x 300 mm. These heating elements should be connected in parallel with the power supply. They should be installed in the middle position of the 75mm heating chamber between the test chamber partition and the bottom, and they should be arranged in a square shape, with the outer edge of each heater 65mm away from the adjacent inner wall of the test chamber. These heaters should be controlled by a suitable thermostat.
D.3Working conditions of the control device for the lamp
During the experiment, the frequency of the power supply line should be equal to the rated frequency of the lamp control device, the voltage of the power supply line should be equal to the rated power supply voltage of the lamp control device, and the temperature inside the test box should be maintained during the experiment; Before the experiment, the control device of the lamp (not powered) should be placed in the test chamber for a sufficient period of time to ensure that all its components reach the temperature inside the chamber. If the temperature inside the box at the end of the experiment is different from the temperature at the beginning of the experiment, this temperature difference should be taken into account when determining the temperature rise of the components of the lamp control device. The control device of the lamp should meet the specifications and quantity requirements of the lamp it is dedicated to. The lamp should be installed outside the test chamber.
D.4The position of the lamp control device in the test chamber
During the experiment, use two 75mm wooden blocks to support the control device of the lamp, so that it is 75mm away from the test partition and in the normal working position. The control device of the lamp should be located at the center of the test box. The electrical connection wire can be led out from the test box through the 150mm square opening shown in Figure D.1. During the experiment, the position of the test chamber should not cause the shielded opening to be affected by rapid airflow.
D.5temperature measurement
The average ambient temperature inside the test chamber refers to the temperature at various locations that are not less than 75 mm away from the nearest inner wall of the test chamber and are on the same horizontal plane as the center of the ballast.
This temperature is usually measured using a glass thermometer. Other temperature measuring devices that can be used are thermocouples or "thermistors", both of which are attached to a metal sheet that can shield thermal radiation.
The temperature of the control device housing of the lamp is usually measured using a thermocouple. When there is no change in the temperature reading obtained from three consecutive measurements, the temperature is considered constant, and the interval between each measurement is 10% of the completed test time, but should not be less than 5 minutes.
