Detection principle:

Phosphates undergo a series of reactions in a certain environmental medium, reacting with colorants to form colored complexes. Their absorbance is then measured by spectrophotometry, and after processing and calculation by a microcomputer system, the phosphate content (calculated as P) is directly displayed.
