Introduction

AGVs used for the assembly of powertrain, rear axle assembly, and vehicle body in automotive chassis lines are divided into two types based on system assembly process requirements: double lift assembly AGVs and double lift assembly AGVs. Assemble the powertrain, rear suspension assembly, and vehicle body separately. Both types of AGVs have synchronous dynamic tracking function, which can achieve dynamic assembly of the powertrain and rear axle assembly at any workstation in the assembly section.

The navigation method adopts magnetic navigation, and changing the navigation magnetic stripe path can adapt to the requirements of production process changes. The AGV operation route is a closed circular operation route, divided into assembly section, lateral movement section, and non assembly section. In the assembly section, the AGV runs synchronously with the suspension chain, allowing for simultaneous assembly of the powertrain and rear axle assembly with the white body. At non assembly stations, the powertrain and rear axle assembly are lifted and transported from the assembly line to the AGV assembly tray. According to the output, assembly time, and AGV performance indicators, the number of AGVs can meet the production cycle requirements.
