Ammonia nitrogen mainly refers to nitrogen that exists in the form of non ionized ammonia (NH3) and ammonium ions (NH4+), among which non ionized ammonia is the main factor causing toxicity to aquatic organisms. Ammonia nitrogen is a nutrient in water bodies that can lead to eutrophication. Our country's environmental protection department has taken many measures to require the detection of ammonia nitrogen in industrial wastewater and domestic sewage samples from industries such as fertilizers, smelting, and synthetic detergents. The discharge standard for urban sewage treatment plants (GB 18918-2002) stipulates that the first level standard for ammonia nitrogen shall not exceed 5mg/L, and the second level standard shall not exceed 25mg/L.
To eliminate the tedious operation of preparing reagents and testing processes for users, and improve detection efficiency, based on the Nessler's reagent method (HJ 353-2009) standard, this product has been launchedAmmonia nitrogen (ness) water quality testing reagent.

Testing precautions
Ammonia nitrogen (ness) water quality testing reagentTesting precautions
1. If the content is higher than the reagent range, the measured value can only be used to estimate the dilution factor and cannot be used as a test result. The sample should be diluted and then re digested before testing;
2. The pH of the water sample to be tested must be close to 7, otherwise it needs to be adjusted with dilute hydrochloric acid or dilute sodium hydroxide;
3. The test water temperature is between 20-40 ℃. If the sample water temperature is between 10-20 ℃, the settling time should be extended to 5 minutes;
4. The triangular positioning mark on the colorimetric tube should be aligned with the positioning mark on the instrument during zeroing and reading;
5. The shaking operation should be carried out slowly, as excessive shaking can cause bubbles in the solution and affect the measurement;
6. During the testing process, personal protective measures should be taken for the presence of heavy metal mercury and strong alkali in the waste liquid. After the testing is completed, hands should be washed with clean water;
7. Store in a dry, cool place, out of reach of children. Do not store with food, medicine, etc., and do not put into fire.
