1、 Working principle of dry steam jet humidifier
The SJG type dry steam jet humidifier uses an external steam source to obtain dry steam through a steam water separation device. Uniform steam is sprayed through a steam jet nozzle, and the nozzle is preheated with a double insulation jacket to prevent condensed water from spraying into the air conditioning system. The condensed water generated in the nozzle flows back to the flash chamber and is evaporated again to become steam for humidification. The separated condensed water is discharged through the drain valve at the bottom of the separator.

Distinguish between left and right styles
When facing the nozzle of the humidifier, if the steam water separator is on the left side, it is called the left type (LH), and if the steam water separator is on the right side, it is called the right type (RH).
When installing a dry steam jet humidifier, the nozzle holes should spray in the opposite direction.
The humidification capacity is only related to the model and switch valve of the humidifier steam water separator, the nozzle aperture, and the length of the nozzle. The rated humidification capacity is the humidification capacity when the valve is fully opened.

Selection of SJG type dry steam jet humidifier
1. Control mode selection (manual, solenoid valve, electric, pneumatic control)
2. Determination of steam pressure (pressure range 0.1-0.4Mpa)
3. Calculate the humidification amount and determine the diameter of the steam water separator.
4. Determine the length and quantity of nozzles based on the height and width of the air conditioner or duct.
5. Determine the left and right type of humidifier based on the design structure of the air conditioner or duct.
Note: In order to achieve more precise humidity regulation, it is necessary to choose electric or pneumatic proportional actuators. If the switch control form is used, a certain amount of condensed water will be generated in the instantaneous saturation state, which will cause problems such as reduced humidification accuracy.

When the height of a large air handling unit or duct is too high (over 2 meters), in order to effectively mix steam with the outside air and quickly absorb steam, we recommend using a dual nozzle or multi nozzle dry steam jet humidifier.

Working principle: By connecting+24V or -24V voltage, the motor is driven to rotate forward or backward, thereby opening or closing the steam valve.

Airflow of 15000m3/h, steam supply pressure of 0.2Mpa, air conditioning cross-sectional dimensions: width 1600 x height 1000 (mm), required humidification rate of 100kg/h, achieving proportional automatic control.

12、 Installation precautions for SJG type dry steam jet humidifier
1. The installation of the humidifier should ensure that it is within the absorption distance, otherwise a multi nozzle humidifier should be used, and the nozzle should be in line with the direction of the airflow.
2. The end of the nozzle should be slightly inclined upwards to facilitate the flow of condensed water back into the flash chamber.
3. The nozzle should be installed at least 250mm downstream of the surface cooling system.
4. Maintain a distance of at least 2 meters between the humidifier nozzle and the control sensing element.
5. The nozzle should be installed as much as possible between the heater and the muffler to eliminate steam jet noise.
6. When installing multiple nozzles, the nozzle spacing should be equal.
