Agilent Bio IEX liquid chromatography column Features:Agilent Bio ion Exchange HPLC ColumnFilled with polymer based non porous ion exchange fillers. The biological ion exchange chromatography column is designed specifically for achieving high separation, recovery, and efficient separation of peptides, oligonucleotides, and proteins. The Bio IEX series chromatography columns offer strong cation exchange (SCX), weak cation exchange (WCX), strong anion exchange (SAX), and weak anion exchange (WAX) fillers. All biological ion exchange stationary phases are available with non porous fillers with particle sizes of 1.7, 3, 5, and 10 μ m.
Agilent Bio IEX liquid chromatography columnfeature
- Highly cross-linked non porous polystyrene divinylbenzene (PS/DVB) hard filler surface combined with hydrophilic polymer layer, avoiding non-specific bonding
- Uniformly and densely packed ion exchange functional groups are chemically bonded to the hydrophilic layer (with multiple ion exchange groups connected to each site), increasing the capacity of the chromatographic column
- Fillers, coatings, and bonds can withstand high pressure, which helps achieve higher separation and faster separation.
- Multiple ion exchange groups are fixedly attached to a binding site to increase column capacity.
