The Agilent 34401A digital multimeter has established a new standard for price/performance at an unusually economical price point, providing 61/2 digital resolution, 1000 readings per second, and a basic DC accuracy of 15ppm. 34401A is a high-performance and versatile digital multimeter that meets your current and future needs.
Good desktop performance
The clear and reasonable front panel of 34401A allows you to easily select all major measurement functions, including traditional "tabletop work" functions such as continuity and secondary tube testing; Numerical operation functions, such as zero position, dB,dBm, Boundary testing and features such as * large/* small/average are also easy to choose from. A simple menu allows you to access powerful premium features, such as storing up to 512 readings in internal memory. The measurement results are displayed on a bright and high visibility monitor. The sturdy casing ensures that the instrument will not be damaged even in harsh environments, and the optional accessory bag makes it easy for you to package and carry.
Superior performance in the system
34401A can process 1000 readings per second, including GPIB bus transmission in ASCII format. GPIB and RS-232 are both standard, allowing you to choose the interface that meets your requirements. 34401A responds to three different instruction languages. It accepts SCPI commands (standard commands for programmable instruments), ensuring current and future compatibility. It also responds to commands from Agilent 3478A and Fluke 8840A to protect your software investment with its backward compatibility. The driver can also use Labview and VEE software from National Instruments Corporation.
