Introduction to 8K (UHD TV2) Resolution Test Card
The 8K (UHD TV2) resolution test card TE278 is used to measure and describe the frequency response of electronic 8K (UHD TV2) cameras. The test card consists of 50 multi wave group fields distributed in the 16:9 image area. These fields are arranged horizontally and vertically to measure resolution in both directions. All fields are labeled with a resolution of one image per period. A loop consists of a black line and a white line.
The two rows in the middle are arranged in different ways. Considering the upper row, the highest resolution is in the middle of the image. Therefore, the 4000 cph field is in the middle, and the frequency decreases towards both sides.
The frequency of the lower row has increased from 200cph on the left to 4000cph on the right. This line can be used to measure and describe the frequency response of the tested camera.
