Mainly used for liquid measurement, with a frequency of 26GHz and a range of up to 10 meters. Due to its transmitting antenna being completely sealed with PTFE, it has good performance in measuring strong corrosive environments.
Principle: The radar level gauge antenna emits extremely short pulses with low transmission capability. These pulses propagate in space at the speed of light and, when they encounter the surface of the measured medium, some of their energy is reflected back and received by the same antenna. The time interval between transmitting and receiving pulses is proportional to the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium.
